We have big news for all Dharmadhara participants and Dharma practitioners:
After several years, Khenchen Konchog Gyaltsen is finally returning to Germany! We are sincerely excited to announce these special events with him and highly recommend them to everyone participating in the Dharmadhara Study and Practice program.
Khenchen Konchog Gyaltsen was born in Tsari. After fleeing from Tibet, he spent nine years at the renowned Institute for Tibetan Higher Studies in Varanasi, India, before practicing in a traditional three-year retreat under Kyunga Rinpoche. As a pioneer of spreading the Drikung Dharma in the West, he founded the Tibetan Meditation Center in Washington, DC, in 1982. Many of our practice texts are based on his translations. He has also authored numerous books, which are available in the book shop at Drikung Sherab Migched Ling in Aachen.
As the first Khenchen and one of the most important masters of the Drikung lineage of our time, Khenchen Konchog Gyaltsen speaks fluent English and has decades of experience guiding Western students.
