The Kagyu tradition of Tibetan Buddhism teaches that all appearances – whether pleasant or unpleasant – are ultimately manifestations of one’s mind. The great masters of this tradition, such as Phagmodrupa, Gampopa and Milarepa, emphasized that recognizing the appearances as one’s own mind is a key moment on the path to liberation.
Together with Tibetan translator Sonam Spitz, participants will take a closer look at statements and explanations on the topic of “Appearances as your own spirit”.
