The Four Noble Truths (Part 1) – The Basis of the Buddhist Path

First of 6 of the seminar series “Basics of Buddhism”

After Siddhartha Gautama became the Buddha, the Awakened One, at the age of 35, he realized that he could not directly convey his profound experiences to others because they were beyond words. But he decided to teach in order to give other beings the opportunity to have the same experiences and to completely free themselves from suffering.

His first discourse on the Four Noble Truths provides a basic structure into which the other discourses, content and meditation exercises can be easily classified.

This seminar is the beginning of the 6-part seminar series on “Basics of Buddhism”, but can also be attended as an individual seminar. Part 2 takes place on March 30th.

Suitable for those who are newly interested as well as those with basic knowledge.
