The five-deity Chakrasamvara practice is one of the most important practices in the Kagyu tradition. Especially in the Drikung Kagyu school, Chakrasamvara is the most practiced yidam. He is the main yidam when practicing the five-fold path of Mahamudra (Tib. Ngaden). Later, in the practice of the six yogas of Naropa, it is Vajrayogini (tib. Dorje Naljorma).
This retreat program is primarily aimed at those who are taking part in the five-fold path of Mahamudra program in Module 3 of the Dharmadhara Study and Practice Program. However, other interested practitioners are also welcome to participate. The requirement is an empowerment in Chakrasamvara (those who have not yet received the empowerment in the past can take it before the start of the event using this YouTube video of H.E. Garchen Rinpoche).
