This weekend, Drubpön Tsering Rinpoche will continue his explanations of the second part of the five-fold path of Mahamudra, the yidam practice of Chakrasamvara. He will also explain how to perform the practice in retreat.
The Chakrasamvara practice with five deities is one of the most important practices in the Kagyü tradition. Especially in the Drikung Kagyu school, Chakrasamvara is the most practiced yidam. When practicing the five-fold path of Mahamudra (Ngaden), he is the main yidam. Later, in the practice of the six yogas of Naropa, it is Vajrayogini (Dorje Naljorma).
Participation requirements:
This event is part of a five-year seminar series (see below for more information). Due to the profound nature of the practices taught in it, participation is only open to graduates of the first year (2024). All participants in this event must therefore:
– have received the complete teachings from 2024 and from April 2025 (on site, via Zoom, or through recordings)
– have practiced the preliminary practices regularly, preferably daily, for at least a year
– have completed a retreat of at least two weeks on the preliminary practices, and
– have received an empowerment of Chakrasamvara (if you have not received the empowerment in the past, you can do so by the start of the event using this YouTube video of H.E. Garchen Rinpoche).
Please also note that the teachings will take place only on site. Participation via Zoom is only possible in exceptional cases. Please contact info@dharmadhara.de for further information.
