5-day Vajrasattva retreat at the end of the year

Fees: 40 € (erm. 30 €) per day or 150 € (reduced € 120) for the complete retreat

This end-of-year retreat will include the practice of Vajrasattva together as well as explanations of the vows and their purification.

Practitioners who are familiar with the practices can also participate in individual sessions to update and deepen their practice.
To participate in the Dharmadhara programme (Basic Level 3 – Meditation and Retreats), attendance in person is required.
If participants take part online or only in certain parts of the programme, certificates of participation (cp) cannot be issued.

Early registration is requested, as accommodations are limited.

Schedule:

Sat., December 27th to Wed., December 31st:
10:00 AM – 1:00 PM Explanations and Practice
2:30 PM – 4:30 PM Group Practice
8:00 PM – 9:30 PM Personal Practice

Thurs., January 1st:
10:00 AM – 1:00 PM Conclusion with Gana Puja

Daily:

7:30 AM – 8:30 AM Guru Puja of Jigten Sumgön (from December 28th)
5:00 PM – 6:00 PM Dharmapala Puja

Tändsin T. Karuna (Elke Tobias) is the director of the Buddhist Center in Aachen. She received transmissions, teachings, and meditation instructions from teachers of various traditions and was ordained as a Buddhist nun (bhikshuni). She completed a seven-year course in Buddhist philosophy and served for five years as a council member of the German Buddhist Union (DBU). She leads seminars and produces materials on Buddhism and meditation.

Christian Licht completed studies in electrical engineering and environmental sciences. In 1992, he came into closer contact with Buddhist teachings and practices and received initiations and teachings from Buddhist masters. He lived as a Buddhist monk for six years and has been a long-time employee of the Buddhist Center in Aachen. He edits publications of scriptures, meditation texts, and CDs, and leads courses.
