Two well-established online courses are returning this autumn, each running from September to December 2026. It is still possible to join mid-course.
Mindfulness and Movement with Giorgio Savigliano
Every Tuesday morning, 06:45-07:45 (online)
Giorgio Savigliano teaches movement and breathing to awaken and feel the subtle body, and explores all types of breathing. We will explore the different aspects of body, energy and mind so that we can create a better space for meditative practice. The experience of meditation happens in the body. The practice will help to purify physical and energetic blockages with an intense but delicate work with the breath. The breath is the main tool to work with the mind and, through prana, purifies the energetic system. During the year we will explore different topics for a deeper work. This work is suitable for everybody, and all are welcome.
The practice of the Four Foundations of Mindfulness is not something that needs to be done only in a seated meditation posture. Mindfulness is something that we can bring into every movement and activity. The Buddha taught that we should practice mindfulness standing, sitting, walking and lying down. Body, breath, feelings and thoughts are always with us. Learning to be mindful in movement is a gateway to bringing mindfulness into daily life.

Meditation Evening with Drubpon Rachel Dodds
Every Wednesday evening, 19:00-20:15 (online)
Topic: The Four Foundations of Mindfulness: Practical Applications of Mindfulness in Meditation
H.E. Garchen Rinpoche has suggested that his students should study and practice the Four Foundations of Mindfulness. These come directly from the Satipatthana Sutra of the Buddha. They are foundational practices of the Theravada traditions and are the basis of the practices of Shamatha and Vipassana. We will take an experiential approach through movement and guided meditation.

Both courses are credited in the Dharmadhara module Foundational Level 2 – Mindfulness & Yoga, with 1 credit point per class, i.e. 12 CP for the Tuesday course and 11 CP for the Wednesday course.
